- Skills, work experience, and career preferences

2.2 Information from Third-Party Sign-In (LinkedIn / Google)
If you choose to sign in using LinkedIn or Google, we receive only the information those services share with us based on your privacy settings and your consent at the time of sign-in. This typically includes:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your profile picture (if available)
We do not receive your LinkedIn connections, messages, posts, work history, or any other LinkedIn data beyond the basic profile information listed above. We do not post to LinkedIn or Google on your behalf.

- IP address and approximate location (country/city level)
- Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the Platform
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Provide access to Platform features (jobs, mock interviews, DSA practice, courses, etc.)
- Personalize your experience (e.g., pre-filling skills, suggesting relevant jobs)
- Send you notifications about jobs, events, and platform updates (you can opt out at any time)
- Improve and develop the Platform through analytics
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and ensure platform security
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising on external networks.
4. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

- Alumni directory: If you are an alumnus with a verified profile, your name, college, company, role, and LinkedIn URL may be visible to other logged-in students on the Platform. You can request removal at any time.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to understand how the Platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect Platform functionality.
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect data anonymously. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
